Jasmine = Despair is an Illusion

Despair is Folly perfumed body oil on a wood stool, next to turkish towel and body brush.

“Jasmine” stems from the Arabian “yas” (despair) and “min” (illusion). In Aziz Eddin’s poem, jasmine itself utters, “Despair is a mistake. My penetrating odor excels the perfume of other flowers.”

We thought it fitting to name this scent Despair is Folly, because it contains not only calming lavender, but also mood-boosting jasmine. This blissful blend, topped with citrus, defies despair and lifts the spirit.
